The way a company presents itself to its customers is just as crucial as what it does or makes, which is why businesses devote large percentages of their expenditures to marketing. All CMOs need an analytical mindset and an ability to keep an eye on trends in what is an ever-changing discipline. With new ideas constantly emerging, especially in digital, they will be as good a listener and learner as they are an instructor.
