Key Responsibilities

• Overhaul and consolidate the purchasing function to improve efficiency and performance.
• Implement a new purchasing system, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
• Recruit, train, and onboard a new purchasing team, developing talent and fostering a high-performing culture.
• Manage day-to-day operations within the department, ensuring smooth procurement processes.
• Develop and strengthen supplier relationships to negotiate more competitive commercial terms.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to define and refine detailed product specifications.
• Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supply chain resilience through strategic procurement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a senior purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
• Strong background in system implementation and process improvement.
• Experience in team management, recruitment, and staff development.
• A commercially astute negotiator with a track record of securing favourable supplier terms.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop detailed product specifications.
• Industry experience within manufacturing, sports, or related sectors is beneficial but not essential.
