Our client is a thriving manufacturing business heavily investing in developing new technologies and products.

Working in conjunction with the Business Development Manager, you will support the launch of a fantastic new product across Europe, generating leads and developing relationships with high profile customers across a range of industries.

This exciting opportunity is a newly created role with huge potential for progression and development. It would be well suited to a recent graduate or trainee who is keen to kickstart their career in Sales, Marketing and Business Development within the Manufacturing / Engineering sector!

What will the role involve?

  • Supporting the Business Development Manager in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies for a new product line across Europe
  • Identifying potential markets, customers and distribution channels within the industrial / manufacturing sector, generating high quality leads
  • Producing and analysing data to support the Business Development Manager in commercial negotiations and to enable accurate sales forecasts
  • Assuming ownership of all Sales Support / Administration tasks for this product line (e.g. pricing, stock levels, delivery requirements, order placement etc)
  • Undertaking European Business travel as required by the role (on average, likely to be 1 week every 2 months)

You will ideally have…

  • Passion, drive and ambition to forge a successful career in B2B Sales
  • Willingness to develop strong product knowledge (full training provided)
  • Previous sales support, sales administration or business development experience
  • Honed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good analytical and MS Excel skills
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently in an autonomous role
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to undertake business travel
