Role Profile
Our client is a thriving foodservice business in the South London area, going from strength to strength and seeing YOY growth in their market!
Due to their continued success and internal promotions, they are now looking to hire a Key Account Manager to strengthen and grow their existing customer relationships.
What will the role involve?
- Taking overall commercial and operational responsibility for a strategic customer account
- Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels (including in person through onsite visits)
- Developing new business opportunities with the customer to deliver YOY growth
- Preparing bids, proposals and tender submissions for new business
- Undertaking regular contract reviews and ensuring business KPIs are met
- Ensuring all operational aspects of the account are run efficiently and excellent levels of customer service are maintained
- Acting as main point of escalation for any day-to-day queries / issues, ensuring these are resolved as quickly as possible
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record in key account management within a fast-paced B2B environment
- Experience / exposure to the Foodservice Industry, ideally working with fresh/chilled produce although this is not essential
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of developing / growing customer accounts
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate well at all levels
- Hunger to succeed and ambition to progress in your career
- Willingness to undertake national travel as required (approx. 10-20%)
