It is bordered to the north by Inverness-shire, the east by Perthshire and the south by Dunbartonshire.
With Glasgow to the south, there has always been a ready supply of tourists to the area, although they also come from much further afield. Tourism and forestry are important industries in Argyll, and these do create opportunities for Planning Manager jobs to appear from time to time. However with Glasgow on the doorstep, commuters to the city should have a much greater chance.
