Head of Procurement Jobs in Argyll
Argyll is a large coastal county on the east of Scotland and covers the area to the north of Glasgow. As well as is large mainland area, it includes several Inner Hebridean islands, the largest of which are Mull, Islay, Jura, Coll and Tiree. The county (actually called Argyll and Bute) is home to dozens of castles and the natural splendour of Fingal’s Cave and Loch Lomond, Great Britain’s largest lake by area, and the National Park of the same name. It is bordered to the north by Inverness-shire, the east by Perthshire and the south by Dunbartonshire.
With Glasgow to the south, there has always been a ready supply of tourists to the area, although they also come from much further afield. Tourism and forestry are important industries in Argyll, and these do create opportunities for Head of Procurement jobs to appear from time to time. However with Glasgow on the doorstep, commuters to the city should have a much greater chance.
