While every well organised company has a set strategy for growth and development through increased sales, there needs to be a sales team tasked with identifying openings, initiating plans and monitoring success. In some organisations, the head of sales will occupy a place on the board alongside directors, while they may alternatively report to a sales director. It contains the Southern Highlands and vast tracts of agricultural land to the south, and has its administrative headquarters in the city of Perth. The county is reasonably well populated and Perth has a moderate population of around 50,000. The city is, however, well connected, with Edinburgh an hour down the road, and Dundee and Stirling about 45 minutes east and west respectively.
