Cast UK welcome first apprentice!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our first apprentice, Rowan Kimmins.
Rowan joins us at our head office in Manchester as Business Support Executive. He will be working within a number of departments to support our wider business, including finance, administration, customer service and marketing. Previous to Cast UK, Rowan has been involved in academy football since the age of 5, playing for Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Bury FC and has spent that last 2 years as an apprentice footballer at Bury Football Club. Commenting on his new role Rowan says, “Undertaking an apprenticeship seemed the logical next step for me following my previous role as an apprentice at Bury FC. I’ve been able to apply a lot of what I learnt there at Cast UK, allowing me to settle in quickly. The apprenticeship at Cast UK really appealed to me as I’ll be gaining hands on experience in all areas of the business and will continue to develop skills for my future career. So far, everyone’s been really friendly and helpful and I’m looking forward to my first Cast UK night out in a couple of weeks!” Our HR and Training Manager, Rachel Williams, comments on Rowan’s appointment, “The continual growth of our business has led to the need for an expansion of our Business Support team and we were really keen to channel young and enthusiastic talent whilst giving someone the opportunity to take the first steps in their career. Rowan has joined our business at a busy time for us and has really taken to his new role. I’m looking forward to seeing him develop within our business”.
