Nestled between Inverness-shire and the county of Moray is Nairnshire, a historic county that’s now part of the greater Highland council area. Its focal point is the town of Nairn on its northern coast. The county is served by the east-west railway that joins Aberdeen to Inverness, and also the A96 and A939. To the south of the county is the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. The county town of Nairn is a seaside resort and fishing port, with a harbour that was built by engineer Thomas Telford.
Nairnshire is not particularly highly populated and prospects for upper-level logistics and supply chain work such as jobs are in line with this. However with Inverness just down the road, there could be more opportunities there.
