Purpose of the Role:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control processes. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse KPIs, drive productivity increases, and collaborate effectively with logistics, customer success, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment: Oversee picking and packing operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics and KPIs to drive improvements.
  • Productivity Improvement: Implement processes and practices to increase productivity within the warehouse team.
  • Target Management: Set and track performance targets for the warehouse operation to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Dispatch Management: Coordinate all aspects of dispatch operations, ensuring that orders are shipped accurately and on time.
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day warehouse functions, including stock put-away, stocktaking, and organization.
  • Labour Planning: Assess staffing requirements and plan labor needs to accommodate fluctuations in workload, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Logistics Cooperation: Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline inbound and outbound processes, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success team to address any issues related to order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Environmental Compliance: Promote environmentally conscious practices within the warehouse and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Consumable Management: Plan and order necessary consumables based on demand forecasts to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management and stock control.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs and improve operational performance.
  • Experience with labour planning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
