Role Profile

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer for our client based in Warrington.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation and further develop your career within a forward-thinking Procurement team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the procurement of all goods and services in line with EU Procurement regulations
• Issuing OJEU tenders and carrying out mini-competitions
• Negotiating contractual terms with suppliers in order to establish robust supply contracts
• Undertaking Contract Management activities to manage supplier performance throughout the life of the contract
• Developing robust and strategic supplier relationships

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years' Procurement experience
• Good working knowledge of OJEU and EU Procurement regulations
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• Proven stakeholder management skills and excellent communication / interpersonal skills
• CIPS qualification would be an advantage
