What will the role involve?

Sourcing and purchasing a wide range of engineered parts, components and commodities
Identifying suitable suppliers and negotiating commercial terms
Raising POs and expediting part deliveries
Maintaining and developing value-adding supplier relationships
Driving cost down initiatives and delivering cost savings to the business

Ideal Skills and Experience

Previous purchasing experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Experience buying component parts from engineering drawings / technical specifications
Confident negotiation and expediting skills
High attention to detail with good ERP skills
Passion and ambition to develop your procurement skills and progress your career!
