Senior Buyer - Construction / Property Maintenance

Are you an ambitious and motivated Buyer with experience of capital works and/or maintenance within the Construction / Property sector?

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic, strategic procurement role, overseeing £multi-million contracts with key suppliers across the UK. What will the role involve?

Leading high value tenders and contract negotiations for capital works and reactive maintenance
Undertaking contract management and supplier relationship management
Conducing regular supplier business reviews
Delivering cost savings and added value
Managing and developing internal and external stakeholder relationships

Ideal Skills and Experience

Relevant procurement experience, including tendering and contract negotiation
Proven relationship building / stakeholder engagement skills
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Excellent analytical ability with good working knowledge of MS Excel
Previous experience in the construction / property management sector would be preferred but not essential
