I'm working with a growing Grounds Maintenance business who are looking to bring in a Procurement Lead to be an integral part of their team. This role has a strong focus on maximising efficiency/profitability of existing accounts and streamlining procurement processes.

What's the role?

• Create a procurement strategy to support this businesses continued growth, liaising with internal customers and suppliers,
• Develop a Request for Proposal process managing it end to end,
• Take a commercial hand in contracts including negotiating rates, rebates and reducing margins,
• Support key categories with plenty of scope to progress from contracted items to more complex tender processes,

What are we looking for?

• Experience with managing contracts / managing suppliers.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to visit suppliers as necessary
• Ability to think outside the box and identify areas for development.
