As a Buyer, you'll:

• Lead impactful sourcing projects: Take ownership of your projects, working with diverse stakeholders to achieve exceptional value and drive divisional targets
• Navigate a global marketplace: Source innovative products and forge strong supplier relationships across international borders
• Champion procurement excellence: Contribute to the evolution of Woodley's IT Systems, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Be a strategic problem solver: Identify cost-saving opportunities through insightful supplier reviews and optimised stock management
• Contribute to global growth: Play a vital role in expanding Woodley's global presence by ensuring the smooth procurement of essential resources

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source high-quality products that meet precise customer specifications
• Conduct thorough market research to inform strategic purchasing decisions
• Implement cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier management and stock optimisation
• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities with precision and efficiency
• Maintain accurate price lists and supplier information
• Drive continuous improvement in cost savings across key product lines

What You'll Bring:

• Exceptional communication skills: you'll articulate complex information clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing
• Relationship-building prowess: you'll connect with colleagues and suppliers at all levels, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships

• Proven experience in a procurement / purchasing role (minimum 3 years)
• CIPS Qualification or working towards it (desired)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• ERP Systems knowledge (desired)
