The skills required
The head of supply chain is a senior role in any organisation, and as such candidates should have a proven track record in managing a team.
Communication skills are a must and you should be able to train, motivate and encourage a team to do the best work possible for the organisation.
An ability to build relationships, carry out negotiations and deal with problems is vital, while a strong customer focus, a credible and trustworthy demeanour and an ability to be proactive and decisive are desirable.

To the south of the county is the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. The county town of Nairn is a seaside resort and fishing port, with a harbour that was built by engineer Thomas Telford.
Nairnshire is not particularly highly populated and prospects for upper-level logistics and supply chain work such as Head of Supply Chain jobs are in line with this. However with Inverness just down the road, there could be more opportunities there.
