A thorough knowledge of employment law, particularly in the company’s sector, and also generally, will be of benefit to the candidate seeking an employer relations manager role.
Because of the HR tasks involved in the role, a firm backing in HR to managerial level will be required. The rewards for this job, however, can be immense, with pride and satisfaction coming from a well thought out strategy that delivers on company policy with the minimum of interference.
