Quite why the town is spelt with an M and the county with an N is a historical quirk, but it’s certainly worth noting if you’re applying for jobs here! (Dunbartonshire is sometimes called the County of Dumbarton, just to confuse matters.)
Dunbartonshire is well linked to Glasgow and has the Loch Lomond National Park to its north, making the county a popular part of the tourist trail as well as a desirable place for commuters.
