The skills required

Knowledge of the various systems and software used within the procurement industry is recommended, as well as the Microsoft Office package - including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
In most cases, a Senior Buyer will be in charge of a team. Therefore, a strong sense of leadership is a must. So is an ability to train, guide and motivate your team and deal with issues as they arise.

Now part of the greater Highland council of northern Scotland, Inverness-shire is an administrative area in itself, though no longer technically a county. Prospects for finding management and executive logistics and supply chain jobs in this county are reasonably good, as it is the gateway to northern Scotland from the south. It is not unusual for Senior Buyer work to become available here, especially in Inverness, with its good road, rail, sea and air links.
