Cast UK Are Donating Food To Manchester Central Foodbank

This Christmas, Cast UK are teaming up with Manchester Central Foodbank, donating food and other much-needed essential items to people struggling in the Manchester area. 

What are we doing?

Team Orange will be bringing in food and other essential items in the run-up to Christmas to drop off at Manchester Central Foodbank to help people and families living below the poverty line.

These items include:

• Tinned fish
• Long life milk
• Coffee
• Shower gel and soap
• Tinned fruit
• Tinned veg

When are we doing it?

Through November and part of December the team will be bringing in all of the above items with the aim of dropping the food and essential items to Manchester Central Foodbank in early December. 

Who are Manchester Central Foodbank?

Manchester Central Foodbank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussel Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. They provide three days' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to the people of Manchester referred to them in crisis.

Manchester Central Foodbank opened up back in 2013 and supplied 4,014 three-day emergy food supplies to people in crisis last year alone. 

At Cast UK we hold Manchester, and the people of Manchester, very close to our heart. That is why we are more than happy to help and chose Manchester Central Foodbank as our charity this Christmas.
