Solihull is a town 6 miles (10 km) south east of Birmingham, but it is within the West Midlands conurbation. Coventry is 10 miles (17 km) to the east. The town retains much of its Victorian architecture due to being left largely untouched during World War II, unlike its two neighbouring cities. And third is the Land Rover factory, which shares its production of the iconic range of vehicles with Halewood near Liverpool.
