The Role
Responsible for the effective management of the Musgrave Wholesale Partners (MWP) Warehouse operations to provide excellent service to our customers at lowest cost. Lead the team to implement Supply Chain best practice in all areas of the warehouse operations which are the people, processes and systems. Achieve this through the optimised use of the warehouse layout, processes, effective resource management and a focus on driving efficiency improvements.

Participating as part of the Supply chain management team to develop and implement the supply chain strategy for the MWP business.

Key Responsibilities

• Set annual budgets and KPI's to monitor every aspect within the Warehouse operation
• Ensure the highest levels of Health & Safety practices across the operation
• Build strong cross functional relationships with the Warehouse colleagues, the Sales team and Customer Service department to ensure excellent service to our customers
• Reviewing service levels, identifying and implementing action plans to address gaps and shortfalls
• Analyse daily and weekly trends against Warehouse department plans and forecasts and adjusting to ensure all operations KPI's are achieved
• Identify long term operational and productivity issues and then implement the selected action plans accordingly
• Establish and analyse the KPI's and co-ordinate the appropriate plans to continuously improve the operation
• Build and sustain a high performing engaged team by providing clear direction, stretch targets, regular reviews to manage all levels of performance
• Ensure appropriate performance review, development and succession management systems are operating effectively to develop and retain the requisite skilled resources to meet current and future business needs
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, representatives and union officials
