Job Overview

The Warehouse & Facilities Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing warehouse operations, fleet, and facilities, ensuring everything runs efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and Health & Safety (H&S) compliance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth while maintaining the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily operations in the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure that all inventory is well-managed, organised, and easily accessible.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using a WMS, conducting regular stock audits, and implementing best practices for stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Fleet Management: Help manage and coordinate the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring regular maintenance, safety checks, and compliance with regulations.
  • Health & Safety: Take the lead in developing and enforcing Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. Monitor compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of facilities, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and functionality of the workplace, including all utilities, equipment, and buildings.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies. Prepare reports for senior management on warehouse performance, safety issues, and any incidents.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and procurement to ensure smooth workflows and efficient processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), with the ability to optimise warehouse processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience in implementing and monitoring H&S compliance.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of colleagues.

Desirable:

  • Fleet management experience
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence or other relevant certifications.

If you're a hands-on, experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you!
