Interim Head of Operations

A leading membership organisation within the beauty industry is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Operations to oversee and optimise its operational functions during a transitional period.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to drive efficiency, enhance processes, and align operations with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations to ensure streamlined and effective processes across departments.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance existing systems to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to implement operational strategies aligned with long-term goals.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all services and training programs adhere to industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members and accrediting bodies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in an operational leadership role, ideally within the beauty, wellness, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of accreditation processes and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in operational software and tools.
