Role Profile

Our client is a thriving manufacturing business in the Blackburn area, looking to recruit an HSE Advisor to join their fantastic team! If you are passionate about Health and Safety and have HSE experience in a manufacturing or production environment, then this could be the career opportunity you've been waiting for...!

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for all HSE aspects across a busy manufacturing site
• Build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business, promoting a positive HSE culture the site
• Complete risk assessments and maintain risk assessment database ensuring this remains up to date
• Log any accidents or near misses according to company procedure
• Act as Lead Auditor for internal ISO audits (ISO45001 and ISO14001)

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Previous HSE experience in a manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH general certificate (highly desirable)
• Good working knowledge of ISO certification (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
• Lead Auditor status for internal ISO audits (highly desirable)
• Excellent communication skills with credibility and confidence to engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the business
• Ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload
