About the Role:
As a Design Engineer with an electrical bias, you will play a pivotal role in the development of bespoke control panels and building management systems (BMS). You'll work with a dedicated team to design, develop, and implement efficient solutions that help automate and optimise building functions, such as lighting, HVAC, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics for control panels and BMS.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications, budget, and regulatory standards.
- Specify and select appropriate electrical components for system integration.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and refine designs based on performance feedback.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of completed systems.
You will need…
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in control panel and BMS design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
