Role Overview:
Cast UK are supporting an expanding Logistics business with the recruitment process of a Branch Manager. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for opening a brand new Branch for the business, recruiting your own team whilst overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and leading a team to achieve business objectives. You will play a key role in driving new business and excellent customer service to any existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open, lead and manage branch operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of branch staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resources.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the freight industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to win new business and provide excellent account management
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute initiatives.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
