The role of the Health and Safety director is to assume responsibility for the promotion of excellence in professional practise of health and safety. Integral to the positon of health and safety director is professional credibility, excellent influencing skills, experience in leading change and a clear understanding of the wider health sector and how it impacts service delivery.
Passionate about safety, well-being and legal compliance to be able to lead on H&S strategy development and delivery for the division. Experienced and effective in coaching H&S to internal and external stake holders while ensuring service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.

Depending on your age and where you live, you might well associate Rochdale with Gracie Fields, Cyril Smith or Lisa Stansfield, all of whom have drawn attention to the town of the last century. As with any large town, the population itself requires a large logistical effort to keep it fed, watered, clothed and stocked with life’s creature comforts. There’s a busy shopping area and a few trading estates dotted around the town. Many of the mill buildings are now used by small businesses or have been converted to living accommodation. Rochdale and Manchester do create Health and Safety Director positions, and both have important logistics, procurement and supply chain industries.
